I expect the students to bring home science and social studies folders and notebooks every day. Daily homework is to review vocabulary, notes, and any other charts, foldables, or diagrams they have been given to help them study. A 10-15 minute daily review goes a long way.
Math homework is usually a sheet from our textbook. Multiplication and division facts should be studied until mastered.
Students should review Wordly Wise words and Latin stems on alternating weeks.
Spelling should be practiced daily.
Writing paragraph assignments should be completed nightly.
Students should read for 20 minutes each night.
Specific assignments are written in your child's homework notebook.
