After discussing the book in small groups, Ms. Ortega answered questions and explained the process of making graphic novels. Thanks to Y'all Fest for providing this great experience!

CD Building Unit

Students from Mrs. Taylor's class were fortunate to have a retired contractor visit during their recent building study. Kids were able to try out some of his tools (safely!) and view his blueprints. Visits like this make learning come to life!

We enjoyed a visit during LOCAL Principal for a Day from representatives from East Cooper Baptist Church. One of the highlights was when Mrs. Preston read a giggle-filled story to Mrs. Neville's class.

Belle Hall Students Achieve i-Ready Excellence!

After a review of our i-Ready® Diagnostic data from this past school year, Belle Hall has achieved remarkable Stretch Growth®! We are incredibly proud of the hard work put in by students, staff, and families last year.

Stretch Growth attainment puts students who placed below grade level on their first Diagnostic on a path to proficiency, and it helps students who placed on or above grade level maintain advanced proficiency levels.

57% of students reached their stretch growth goal in ELA, and 59% of students reached their stretch growth goal in Math!

Only 20 other schools in the nation have achieved this in both ELA and Math!

Alicia Rainsford, 5th grade teacher and 2024 Teacher of the Year

I have been at BHE since kindergarten. I love it here! There are such fun activities and great teachers. I will always remember the friends and teachers I met here, even when I go to middle school next year.
