CHoo, CHoo, Choose the Right Track
Make Healthy Choices
Nov. 5-9
Monday: Students and staff will receive red ribbons that may be worn all week. Parents may stop by the office for a ribbon!
Wednesday: Students have the opportunity to participate in an exciting RRW poster contest. Students should design a poster of a train on a track with healthy choices. The entry should be no larger that a traditional poster board. Entries are due to Ms. Rosado by 9 am.
Thursday: Students will receive a bookmark in recognition of Red Ribbon week and making healthy choices.
Friday: Staff members may wear red and students may wear a red uniform shirt. Winners of the poster contest and estimation jar will be announced.
All week long: Guessing Jar in the cafeteria.
Classroom Guidance : Each class will receive a guidance lesson on Making Healthy Choices. Red Ribbon Week is a nationally acknowledged awareness campaign which celebrates the importance of drug and violence prevention. Our week long activities are designed to support the significance of creating a healthy environment, school, and community. Each of the students pledge to a lifelong commitment choosing to be healthy and drug free!
